Is my video uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your own browser. After the page loads you can turn on airplane mode and still compress and save.
Does it cost anything?
No. You do not need an account either. We plan to pay for the site with ads.
Which browsers work?
Chrome and Edge on computers and phones, Safari 26 or later on iPhone and Mac, and Firefox on computers.
Is there a limit on file size?
In Chrome and Edge you choose where to save first, so there is almost no limit. In Safari and Firefox the limit depends on your free space and memory.
How long does it take to save?
It depends on your device. On a computer a one-minute video takes a few seconds to a dozen or so; on a phone it takes several times longer.
Why does the picture quality drop?
We lower the picture size and the frames per second so the file fits the size you set. If it is going to drop a lot, we tell you before you save.
Some of my videos will not open.
Your device may not support that format. Try the newest version of Chrome or Safari.
Where is the finished video saved?
Wherever you chose (or your downloads folder). Nothing is left on this site.
