How to use it

Tips from the pros
- For talking only, 128kbps is plenty. If there is music in it, we suggest 192kbps or more.
- If you only want part of it, set the range first with "Cut out the part you want", then take the sound out.
- It can never sound better than the original. A bigger number only makes a bigger file.
Common questions
Does the MP3 sound worse than the original?
The sound is rebuilt, so it drops a little. If that bothers you, pick 256kbps or 320kbps, and if you do not want to lose anything at all, pick WAV.
How long a video can I use?
There is no limit on length. A one-hour video works too (it just takes a while).
Is my video uploaded?
No. Taking the sound out happens inside your own browser.
Does it work with iPhone videos (MOV)?
Yes. There is a page for MOV as well, but a MOV dropped on this page works just the same.
What if I pick a video with no sound?
It tells you that there is no sound in this video.
