No upload
Your video is handled only on your own device. It is never sent anywhere, so you can safely use it with work or school videos.
Just pick
Pick Discord as the place you are sending to, and the size and the picture quality are set for you. There is nothing complicated to set up.
No watermark
Nothing is stamped onto your video, and there is no limit on how many you make.
Picture quality like the pros
We use the numbers people use in video work. If the picture quality is going to drop a lot, we tell you before you save.
How to use it
- Choose the video you want to shrink.
- The target size starts at 25 MB. Type a different number if you want another size.
- Check "What you will get" to compare the size before and after.
- Press the button to make the file and save it.
25MB is the size of an email attachment
Most people looking for 25MB are trying to email a video.
- Gmail allows attachments up to 25MB (Google’s official help, checked on September 12, 2026).
- Outlook.com also allows 25MB.
- But an email attachment grows by about 37% on the way, because it is converted to base64. Google says so in its own help page.
So a video of exactly 25MB is handled as about 34MB by email and will not go through. For email, aim for about 18MB — which is what the Gmail page does by default.
25MB works as-is outside email: upload forms, file services, and internal systems.
How much video fits in 25MB
| Video length | Left for the picture (per second) | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| 30 seconds | About 6,500 kbps | 1080p stays clean |
| 1 minute | About 3,200 kbps | 1080p fits |
| 3 minutes | About 980 kbps | 480p is the sweet spot |
| 5 minutes | About 540 kbps | 480p at best |
| 10 minutes | About 200 kbps | Rough |
Up to a minute you can stay at 1080p; past three minutes you are trading resolution away.
Things to watch when emailing video
- The receiving mailbox has its own limit, sometimes 10MB. Ask first when the video matters.
- Gmail switches to a Google Drive link above 25MB. Make sure the other person can open that link; attaching a smaller file is often more reliable.
- Long videos do not belong in email. Past five minutes, trim to the part you need or build a 100MB file and hand it over another way.

Tips from the pros
- 25 MB is a common email attachment size. Attachments grow when they are sent, so you may need to go a little smaller.
- Fitting a long video into 25 MB costs a lot of quality. Trimming first keeps the part you care about looking better at the same size.
- If it will not fit, you will see how short it needs to be. Trim to that length and try again.
Common questions
Will it be exactly 25 MB?
It will not go over 25 MB. It usually lands a little under, and sometimes well under, depending on the video.
How much quality will I lose?
It depends on the length and size of the original. You can see the resulting size and frame rate before you start, and you are warned when quality would drop a lot.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser. You can turn on airplane mode after the page loads and it still works.
Does the sound stay?
Yes. If you do not need it, choose "Change the volume" and then "Mute" — that frees up room for the picture.
Can I use it as often as I like?
Yes. There is no limit on how many videos you make, no watermark, and no sign-up.
