Four promises

No upload

Your video is handled only on your own device. It is never sent anywhere, so you can safely use it with work or school videos.

Just pick

Pick Discord as the place you are sending to, and the size and the picture quality are set for you. There is nothing complicated to set up.

No watermark

Nothing is stamped onto your video, and there is no limit on how many you make.

Picture quality like the pros

We use the numbers people use in video work. If the picture quality is going to drop a lot, we tell you before you save.

How to use it

  1. Press "Choose a video" and pick your MOV video.
  2. Pick the sound quality (192kbps to start with).
  3. Press "Compress and save".
  4. Open the saved MP3 in a music app or on a computer.

Tips from the pros

  • Videos from an iPhone are usually HEVC, but that makes no difference when you are only taking the sound out.
  • If you are using it as a recording of an interview, 192kbps is plenty.
  • It works in Safari on an iPhone too (Safari 26 or newer).

Common questions

What is MOV?

It is a container for video that Apple devices use a lot. Inside it is HEVC or H.264 picture, with AAC sound.

Can I do it all on my iPhone?

Yes. Open this page in Safari on your iPhone, pick a video from your photos, and you get an MP3 right there.

Do I need to move it to a computer first?

No need. The work and the saving both finish on that device.

Can the sound end up out of step?

No. The original sound is taken out as it is.

Does my video stay?

Your original video stays as it is. A new sound file is made.
